TeleMed button that never moves

The challenge

Specialist care at a local clinic

Patients who need specialist care may have to travel from their local area to a teaching hospital. TeleMed brings the specialist into the local clinic through a live consultation, with the patient’s case and records available alongside it.

TeleMed consultation

The approach

An emergency action that stays in place

An emergency action stays fixed at the foot of the rail. It combines an icon, a contact number and a clear label, giving clinicians a consistent place to find the alert.

The experience

The whole case in view

A session card brings the patient, clinic, doctor and duration together. The consultation view keeps the video, connected clinics and chat in the same workspace, so clinicians can follow the case during the call.

Refinement from client feedback

Feedback on the built interface led to changes in alignment, navigation, action icons and Arabic typography. The refinements also clarified the active page and submenu direction.

The outcome

The design was handed over and built. The work connected scheduling, consultation and records, then refined the interface in response to client feedback.
